Dr Hervé Guillou
Dr Hervé Guillou is head of the Integrative Toxicology and Metabolism team at INRAE in Toulouse. His research aims to develop the study of hepatic lipid metabolism as a consequence and/or initiating signal of endocrine and metabolic disturbances. In particular, he is studying the mechanisms by which PPARα is regulated in the liver, the transcriptional effects of PPARα, the impact of adipocyte lipolysis on PPARα, and sexual dimorphism.
