On 12 October, the C3M stand was a great success again this year at the Village des Sciences in Nice, thanks to the remarkable work of our young researchers in popularising science and ingenuity. We had nearly 400 visitors over the course of the day. I would like to extend my warmest thanks to:

  • Adèle (Eq2), Chloë (Eq2), Diogo (Eq3) and Mélissa (Eq11) for their fantastic game of Beer Pong to explain chemotherapy resistance.
  • Ludovic (Eq6), Valentine (Eq6) and Margot (Eq6) for their remarkable imitation of a CO2 incubator to grow bacteria. For the record, I had to drive with my window open all weekend!
  • Anaïs (Eq3), Oumayma (Eq5), Abigail (Eq5) and Ibrahim (Eq10) for their ingenious workshop on metabolic diseases and their criminal investigation.
  • Sophie Peraldi (Eq7) and Pascal Peraldi (Eq5) for their presentation of research careers and salaries, which made all our visitors dream.
  • Finally, a big thank you to Alexandre and Marie (Imagerie) for their support and participation, without whom none of this would have been possible.

See you next year with some fresh ideas from the class of 2024!
