Today, the Mediterranean Centre for Molecular Medicine (C3M) brings together 14 research teams, with more than 160 researchers, clinicians, engineers, technicians and doctoral students working together to better understand disease processes and identify new treatments in the fields of cancer, infectious diseases and metabolic diseases. These scientists are supported by administrative and technical staff and state-of-the-art technology platforms.
The C3M is housed in the Archimed building of the Côte d'Azur University, within the Archet Hospital.
This 3800 m2 building was deliberately designed on a single floor to facilitate exchanges between the teams. It is organised in 4 distinct modules and each module contains laboratories and offices dedicated to 2 or 3 research teams, as well as meeting rooms and laboratories allocated to technological platforms and other common equipment.
